Moto Guzzi has taken the world by storm with its announcement of the 2024 Stelvio, a bold revival of its iconic adventure bike. The original model which we can now call the “Old Stelvio” was produced from 2007-2017, and needs to be discussed to understand the underpinnings. This bike made it’s debut in a time when the adventure motorcycle industry was just getting started; the same year the BMW R1200GS made it’s debut into the world. This old model had a V-twin engine displacing 1,151cc whereas the new model is down to 1,042 but up on horsepower from 106.5 to 115. This also happens to be the same engine on the Moto Guzzi Mandello V100.
