The stock placement of the voltage regulator places the unit in an extremely vulnerable position, allowing it to be easily damaged even in a mild crash. In our racing efforts with the Ninja 400, we quickly saw a need to relocate the rectifier and keep it in a more protected area without spending a ton of cash or adding unnecessary weight with a dedicated bracket. Using our TST Frame Slider mounting bracket, this kit moves the stock regulator to the back of the frame slider bracket and secures it with stainless hardware, adding protection for a small price and an even smaller impact on your bikes overall weight.
