The base of the Elite-1 fender eliminator closes out the undertail hole left behind by the stock fender and it seals off your trunk from the outside. The internal geometry of the base fits nicely around the stock undertail contours, and provides a channel for you to run a wire to your license plate light (if you are using one). This is the coolest looking fender delete kit that you can get for your Kawasaki so you can give your ZX that sexy and sleek racy look! By removing the stock fender you are removing mounting points for your stock signals.
