Hepco & Becker Lock Cylinder & Key

These breathed new life into my bags. I rekeyed my side cases with these cylinder and keys to match my top case and everything works like brand new, and the best part is I only need to carry one key now!

This replacement lock was easy to install on the top case. Helpful staff even ensured that it used the same key as the bottom lock that attaches the case to the motorcycle. This replacement lock has extended the life span of my top case. Would definitely recommend.

These new latch replacements are very sexy looking latches. What an upgrade in looks. It's like a complete upgrade of my cases.

I was really excited when I bought My Suzuki Vstrom. It Is a 2016. I really had to have the OEM side cases so, I got them. However, they had no locks. I was really bummed until I found Motomachines And they saved the day. And had the keys I needed.

During the summer of 2022 I rode my 2005 DL650 Suzuki V-Strom to Alaska and parts of the Yukon. On the return trip one pannier to rack lock started to get very sticky not releasing my key or not turning. I was able to coax it to work using a drop of my 5w-40 synthetic engine oil. In spring 2023 the lock again failed to work consistently so I ordered a new lock cylinder and key from Moto Machines. Order made, confirmed, then found out not in stock - anywhere. I checked with family in Europe, and the HB factory, covid supply chain.

So why the 5 star review? In emails to Noah at Motomachines I said please let the order stand because I done want to replace 6 locks. Fast forward to late March 2024 the new lock cylinder and key arrived!

Good to have a spare on hand. Would be nice if H&B provided two keys. Make sure you check the fitting, it will not work on all Hepco & Becker cases.

It's refreshing to find people who actually know something about their products when buying MC parts. These guys are the real deal.

I bought a used HB Junior case that had no keys. After a consultation with Motomachines customer service, I ordered 3 matching key cylinders. A you tube video later, installation took about 2 minutes each. Fits and works perfectly and now I have2 spare keys.
Note: To change them the locks have to be in the open position. One of my locks was in the locked position, so I had to take the entire case to a locksmith. He picked the lock open in less than a minute. They are definitely not pickproof.
