A false neutral happens when the transmission fails to fully engage a gear, often during higher gear shifts (like 4th to 5th or 5th to 6th). One common cause is play in the gear shift linkage and lateral movement in the gear shaft.
The Racetorx Gear Shift Support is designed to fix that. By stabilizing the gear shaft, it reduces unwanted movement and slop in the linkage, delivering more precise, positive gear changes and helping prevent missed shifts altogether.
It also adds an extra layer of protection by supporting the shaft in weak points—like the E-clip groove found on models such as the Triumph 675 and 765—reducing stress and helping avoid costly engine damage.
