Vespa GTS 300 Fitment

This fits perfectly on the OEM folding rack of the 300/Large frame Vespa. I coupled this with the H&B Xceed top case which is, in every way, clearly superior to Vespa offerings!

My Review

I recently picked this adapter up for use on a Harley FLH (FLHP) with a large stock aluminum luggage rack. This is a sturdy piece of kit which allows for a nearly infinitely adjustable position of the topcase on the rack. I'm using it with an HB Orbit topcase so I've got it mounted without the aluminum bar for now and it blends in well with the OEM rack. I like the fact that aside from a plastic cover that hides the hardware the adapter is solid aluminum.

Excellent quality, mounting limitation

The universal Alurack rack lies flat on your bike's luggage rack. Because the top case latch grips the Alurack from the bottom, the Alurack must be mounted no further forward on the luggage rack than the point at which the top case latch will contact the luggage rack. This required me to set it up so that the top case sat several inches farther to the rear than I would have liked. This was not a problem with the Givi top case and universal mount which the Hepco replaced.
