The installation was a bit of a pain. I found that it was useful to use a telescoping magnet to thread the washer and locking nut on to the right side engine/frame bolt. I haven't field tested these bars at all, but these were recommended by several people in the avdrider forum. The only thing that gives me a little bit of anxiety with these bars is that clamp to the headlight piece of the mount. Instead of metal it is plastic. Although I don't believe that this will be an issue given other reviews and feedback from forum users that have dropped their bikes with these guards installed. Aesthetically these bars look great and pair well with the factory lower engine guards.
