Custom designed for the Africa Twin, this tank guard attaches at the front engine suspension point on each side, with another mounting point under the headlight. An included connection plate provides additional stability. Very easy installation.

Very easy installation. Seems sturdy and well built. Haven't had an occasion to see how much impact it can take (thankfully), but I feel more confident with it on there.

Could use more clearance for panel removal

My bike hasn't fallen since I installed these crash bars, but they appear to be pretty sturdy. My one complaint is that there is not enough clearance between the bars and the middle panels to fully remove the middle panels. Strictly speaking, you might be able to, but you really have to work at it. It would be much better if the bars had maybe 1/2 inch or so more clearance.
