These attach to your Gobi bag just above the latch allowing you to carry even more luggage or items on top of the bags by using secure tie downs. Each sold separately, two are needed for each Gobi bag.

Concerned about strength of mounting

Purchased four of these to mount on my GOBI saddlebags. Installation consists of marking.drilling two small holes that are used to screw what appear to be 1/2 #4 metal screws up from the bottom - through the two holes in the 90 degree plate - and then tap into the metal loop that has two small holes provided in the ends. Left bag on the bike went cleanly and seemed to install well - right bag - none of the metal screws would engage well for the install. Tried 5/8 #4 screws without success and the used 5/8 #6 screws which seemed long enough and wide enough to engage the loop install. Not sure how well the loops will hold up to pressure but think I will need to be careful pulling on them
