Soloracks are racks designed to fit just above the rear fender. Hepco & Becker offer two styles being with and without a built in back rest. This back rest provides additional support and stability for the driver. Great for long journeys and sore backs! They are available for cruisers that have a separate rear seat or no rear seat at all.

The rack is 11x7 inches.

For 2021 cmc500 installation was a massive pain.
The instructions were brief and I don't recall seeing any indication of needing to loose the bracket that the seat secures to. A couple of holes on the braket seemed ever sp slightly off, which made it so hard to get it put back together. On 2 spots, i couldn't get the provided bolt to secure and had to use the factory bolt, which I was not sure would be long enough with the bracket and washers added.
For a product 2 to 3 times the price of others, I expected less hassle and more precision.

Should not require the finesse it does to install

I installed this Solorack on my 2021 Honda Rebel 500 SE. After reading the experiences of others who installed this rack on their Honda Rebel, I felt prepared. The sole problem encountered seemed to be slight misalignments between the Solorack base screw holes with those on the rear Honda fender. The solution offered was to keep every screw/bolt loose until the final fit. This did not work for me. I had to dremel 3 of the Solorack holes into “slot” shapes in order to accommodate the retaining screws. This rack would be perfect if Hepco & Becker made the screw holes in the base of this rack in a slot shape. This would definitely increase it’s ease of installation and versatility among different motorcycle models and years. Once installed, it’s very sturdy and complements the Rebel beautifully.

Rebel Rack

Tricky to get on, had to take seat off to get it to seat - then easy from there. Wish retaining screws had same finish as the rack - Black, but not really noticeable

Functional and looks really nice. Relatively easy to install, I used a black sharpie to color the silver screw heads so now everything matches.

Love the mobility a rack provides

I use mine to hold a strapped waterproof duffel with camping gear and now I can easily do weekend long trips without carrying a bag on my back. Easily holds more than the rated weight (probably double) and very sturdy. The only thing I wish was different is for it to come with black screws instead of silver screws. All the other screws on the bike are black, so I’ll be looking to change those out. Delivery was quick, install was easy, and no customer service needed so I highly recommend this product and vendor.

It took a while to install but it was worth it. I was hoping to put a hard shell truck on it but I was informed not to due to that rack is on the fender. So I got a soft tail bag. The rack does compliment the bike.
