The Rear Alurack is a fixed rack bolted on to the rear of your bike allowing you to attach any top case offered by Hepco & Becker and more. Every Alurack is custom fitted to each individual bike. Racks are attached to the motorcycle through strong points on the frame of the motorcycle. These racks are made of high quality cast aluminum with an integrated plastic cover. The top bow for the rack can be taken off for carrying luggage besides top cases. Features strap holes all around utilized to strap luggage down. All racks are relatively easy to install and come with the required hardware and instructions needed.

Strong Rack, takes some extra work to fit...

I have an Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 RR. H&B said I couldn't fit their Journey Top Case 50 onto this rack, but I used the bolts and washers that came with the trunk & the bike set that came with this rack and made the Journey base plate work with the Allurack.
I think it's really stupid that Hepco & Becker won't engineer their own racks to work with their own trunks. But I really LOVE this combo!

Good Rack

I really like this rack but gave it only four stars as you are very limited in where you can mount the top box plate on the two arms and their respective holes. There really is only one or maybe two places to locate it fore/aft and still be centered. It could be an issue with your pillion seat. Had to to some slight modifications to the plate holes where they line up to get it to center and clear the rear seat. I think those crafty Germans could have done a bit better here. That being said, the end result works perfectly and is very stout and secures my Journey 40TB better than any Givi TB I have had. Buy it, you'll like it!
