This product fits all bikes

Improve lighting conditions with the LED Flooter Lights from Hepco & Becker! Extra lighting and visibility is essential to safety. These lights consist of 3 high power LEDs with a 12-volt current and are housed in an aluminum shell. This kit consists of a complete set being two lights, a switch, a wiring harness, mounting material, and housing protection.

The fog lights are universally mounted. The most common way to mount them is on crash guards or other tubular parts of the bike. The tube clamps are for sizes 22-47mm in diameter. This is suitable for almost any crash guard out there including the Hepco and Becker engine and tank gaurds.

  • High-power LEDs with two switching levels at 2,500lm - 4350K / 5500K
  • 12 volts, per headlight 22 watts
  • ECE tested and approved, therefore no individual approval is required (observe country-specific legal
  • regulations for installation)
  • Improved traffic light conditions
  • Universal attachment to engine or tank protection bar with tube Ø18mm – Ø25mm or Ø25mm – Ø32mm, can be attached standing or hanging
  • Complete headlight set; Incl. 2x LED additional headlights, 1x switch, 1x cable set, 2x clamp incl. reducing sleeves, 1x instructions, 1x tool set
  • Connection is only via the battery, no connection to the vehicle wiring harness is required
  • No external operation by third parties, thanks to a special control unit with automatic voltage control
  • Waterproof and dustproof to IP67
  • Headlights can be flexibly switched on using the switch on the handlebars

Note: The lights can only be switched on approx. 5-15 seconds after the engine has been started. A voltage of 13.1 V must be applied to the control unit of the wiring harness to enable the circuit. In older vehicles, this can be achieved by briefly increasing the engine speed. Switching off must be done manually using the switch. The NOVA LEDs continue to light up until the voltage limit of 11.3 V is reached, even after the engine is switched off. Only when the voltage falls below this limit do the lights switch off automatically via the control unit. When switching on again (wait for the time limit of control unit), the voltage limit of 13.1 V is queried again.

Game Changing Visibility

This is a review for the new H&B Nova Floodlights. These are really awesome and with 2,500 lumens they increase both visibility of the bike on the road, and are a real game changer for the amount of light they provide for night vision. When I purchased them I did not know that they have a low and high beam, which really adds up for night vision in secluded roads with poor lighting. They are super easy to install since you hook them on directly to the battery terminals. The biggest challenge is making sure the wiring harness is tightly wrapped around the bike's already existing wiring (front to back with zip ties). For my bike this implied taking off not just the seat (where the battery is under), but also the tank (which I have done several times for air filter maintenance). Direct wiring and installation for the floodlights took 1 hour tops. I highly recommend these tiny but mighty lights.

Not for me

They looked great and I was so hopeful they would be as simple as plug and play, but it wasn't to be. After nearly 2 hours of trying and nearly disassembling by bike to try and find the proper routing and connections I finally gave up and sent these back. As with any of the Hepco and Becker products the installation instructions were extremely vague but I was hopeful that Moto Machines would come through and make an easy install video like they did for the Hepco and Becker tank guards, but not this time. Maybe the product was just too new and they just haven't done it yet. Oh well, I'll try a different brand and hopefully get better instructions.

Not the brightest but they help in different situations

I installed these on my W800 along with an engine guard to help give more visibility at night. Installation is a breeze thanks to the included instructions. Give yourself about two to three hours to install them (I had no prior experience mucking around with my bike's wiring). The lens on the front of these lights helps disperse light at a wide, horizontal angle so you both see more of your surroundings, and give more visibility to traffic ahead. Even with only 800 lumens, it makes a big difference at night, especially for oncoming traffic.
