Great case, fair hinge cover.

The Gobi case is very good, well built, and durable. The hinge cover degrades and fails after a few years of UV and ozone exposure. But the cases really don’t rely on the hinge cover for anything including the water seal. They are, however, rather expensive to replace. So keep your Gobis out of direct sunlight when not in use and the hinge covers should last a reasonable length of time. I’m still happy with my 10 year old Gobis and anticipate many more years of use.

Quality Replacement, but BYOFasteners!

Exactly what I needed, but would have appreciated fresh screws to attach them with.
