Hepco & Becker Handlebar Guards Triumph Tiger 900 Rally / GT / Pro / 850 Sport 2020-2023

I managed to jimmyrigg them over the handlebar risers. It is possible but you need to get some longer screws and tube washers.

I added these to my 2020 Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro for peace-of-mind protection. They were well packaged when they arrived. The fit and finish is very good. Most importantly, they fit! It was a straight bolt-on job. Because I run a RAM Ball on one of the bolts I needed to go to the hardware store and get a longer bolt for one of the holes. But that was my issue - not theirs - otherwise they supplied all of the required hardware.
I would recommend this product.

These look great and should provide the hand protection they were purchased for. Love the looks of these, subtle but good looking.

These give me extra confidence by just looking at them! Haven't called upon them yet, but others that I'm traveling with have dropped their bikes and broken the ends off of their clutch and shifter levers, along with their flimsy wind protection. I really like these H&B handguards!

I dropped my bike on grass and one of them bent a lot right after the two rods turning to one. I'm told that is to reduce shock to the bike? Yikes, glad my tank guards don't bend.
I suggested they continue the two rods all the way to handle bar connection. They did offer to sell me just one as replacement but my confidence in these is not good after spending so much.

The bars have a substantial feel. Installation was a breeze and the already negligible buzzing through the handlebars at certain rpm’s became lessened even more. Likely due to the weight of the bars. I like the look; well worth the cost.

I dropped my Tiger while on some nasty roads and snapped the handguard. This was the only product I could find that is an exoskeleton as opposed to a support underneath the handguard. Super easy to install and sharp looking too! Hopefully I don’t drop the bike again but if I do… I won’t have to worry about the hand guards!

Bars fit well, provide good protection and look great.

Sturdy protection, but lacks adjustability. It cannot rotate with the handlebar as you adjust it to your ergonomics. The inner attachment on the handlebar clamps is nice and strong, but it does not readily allow for using risers.

Yes, they look decent, and they feel solid. Until you drop the bike for real on an offroad trail. I dropped a Tiger 900 Rally Pro on both sides during the same single track outing with these installed. The drops were not high speed or terribly hard. In both cases, the bike went down relatively lightly. In both cases, the guards bent completely out of shape right at the point where the single bar from the handlebar clamp meets the doubled bars in front of the stock hand guards. By bent, I mean to an angle greater than 45 degrees. At the same time, the mounting bolts at the bar ends bent to a degree that made them difficult to remove without damaging the threads in the bars. The left guard bent inward enough that it impinged the movement of the clutch lever. The right one bent in enough that it snapped my brake lever at the relief point. Oh, and it pulled my bars out of alignment (because it's mounted to the handlebar clamps). I didn't even bother waiting until I got home to remove them and throw them in the closest trash can.

I understand the concept of a sacrificial part. But these don't even do much of anything before they just bend completely out of shape, to the detriment of everything they were "protecting".

I've dropped my previous Tiger 1200 *much* harder *many* times with Barkbusters installed, and never had the bike or the bars take damage to controls, bars or guards, beyond some cosmetic damage to the replaceable plastic brush guards.

Don't waste your time on these. Just go get the Barkbusters. You'll thank yourself later. For the record, I would have ordered the Barkbusters in the first place, but they were out of stock for long enough that I figured the H&B guards would be good enough for awhile. They weren't.

Just the protection I need and the fit is perfect. Looks great too.

The only issue I have now is to find longer bolts for the bar risers I'm fitting.

These are just beefy! A little hefty in the hand but rock solid. I particularly like that they mount on top of the bar clamp and so stiffen and strengthen the bar. I’m confident I could nail these with a bat and nothing would come of it, though I would never do that :grin:.

Very nice fit, hugs existing guards just right, and finally a tough Tiger handguard.

A bit tricky to fit…required minor muscling to lightly bend/tweak to install to avoid tension.
