The Handlebar Protection set is one of if not the strongest handlebar protection on the market. The set consists of a left and right piece that go in place of the bar end weights and connect on top of the handlebar risers. This is to be used along side the stock hand guards. These do not fit the 2017 on model years.

Some slight modifications are necessary
The bars are 1 1/8 instead of 7/8 so I cut off the spacers and elongated the mounting holes with a dremel tool I ordered spacers 8 x 12 x 12 mm from Amazon. Did some touch up paint and installed. Took about a half hour for the mods. Like the guards

Review

Great product. Well made and they look great! Super easy to install. I already had plastic guards so I was happy to still be able to use them and not having to replace them and then not know what to do with them. Very happy with this purchase!

H & B Handlebar Guards

OK ..so I am one of those guys who hates to buy a brand new bike and then start throwing parts away just to replace them with other brand new parts. That's why the H & B hand guards are ideal. The stock wind guards stay in place and these bolt over them attaching to the stock handle bar clamps actually improving their looks. The outside end replaces the weights easily . No ungainly clamps to install and no mods needed. A top quality product and a must add to the 2015 V Strom 1000

Easy to put on and look great. Should help to protect hand guards if ever tip over.
