Moto Machines has been great to worth with and they went well above and beyond great customer service.
As for these engine guards. Hepco & Becker is lacking major quality control. The first set I ordered, the clutch side mounting holes were way out of parallel and not even close to lining up to the mounting holes on the bike. I exchanged the 1 not fitting guard and the 2nd one was the same problem. Moto Machines said to just change both sides for a whole new set. I get the new set and the clutch guard has the same problem. The brake side also did not line up but was not as bad. The clutch side I cut the weld and install the guard on the bike and rewelded it as it sat on the bike. The brake side I was able to drill out the mounting holes on the guard a bit more so they would line up. There was also MIG wire from welding that was left on the part and not ground off and it was blocking the counter bore, the screw would not even go into the hole till I cut the wire off. I have bought many items for my bike and have had no problems with any parts fitting from a windshield, hard pannier bag mounts, gauge cluster relocation bracket. Even a cheap radiator guard fit with no problems.
