Hepco & Becker engine guards provide protection in case of an accident or fall. Custom designed for each bike to bolt on without drilling. All engine guards come with the required installation hardware and instructions.Please note that these are Anthracite Grey color.

Not sure it works with the engine guard I bought. I’ll let u know when I mount it.

Perfect!

Fit & finish are superb! Low profile these engine guards look factory giving very good protection while having a small footprint Match these with the Hepco & Becker upper fairing/tank guards & you won't be disappointed.

In the picture… a bash

In the picture… a bash plate. What was sent … crash bars for a different year of my bike. No questions on return though.

Bad review for something that wasn't used and he's mixing up oem parts with aftermarket.

Another excellent product form H & B, they never disappoint! Easy to install, excellent fit & finish, complements the look of the bike, well built and appear to be up to the task if called upon. To add a little bling I had the guard powder coated orange to match the accent stripe of my CB500X. It looks great and garners a lot of attention.

STURDY, SOLID, RECOMMENDED.

Install was relatively simple and all hardware was provided. Instructions and replacement parts are included. But, there were some discrepancies between the instructions and what was required for install. The left side cover over the chain needs to be loosened to allow for the rear engine lower bolt to be removed. Bolt was pulled out towards the left side, vs. the instructions which says pull bolt out to the right. Keep everything loose prior to tightening back up. Pros: The guards look as designed: well built and sturdy. Paint job consistent. I wouldnÆt be worried about having a tip-over and crash. Plenty of places to attach auxiliary lights. Cons: Instructions were provided, but did not match 100% completely. The bolts go through the engine housing, vs. being attached to the frame somewhere. The clearances are tight, as they should be, but it makes it a little more difficult by yourself if you aren't a mechanic. So far, so good.
