This is a well built centerstand, EXCEPT for one flaw. As others have complained, mine was dangerous to use as it is built and shipped. It does not allow the bike to rotate back past center when the stand hits the stop (when putting bike up on the stand) and the bike (my Scrambler 1200 XE) will roll forward with just a light touch. If I wasn't prepared for this by reading other buyers' issues, the bike would have fallen over in my garage during my first use. I fixed the problem as others have: took it back off the bike, disassembled, and removed about 3 mm of material from where the stand hits the stop (making sure to keep full contact). Now, it works well. I had it attached during a rough, rocky, fast 3 day desert ride and it sustained no damage (other than scuffs and scratches) and works great still. I would strongly recommned correcting this defect in design and/or manufacture before any more are sold. It also worries me that MotoMachines is aware of this defect and continues to sell these units.
