Hepco & Becker C-bow carriers are discrete, unobtrusive, and yet a very functional luggage carrier built for all types of bikes. They are perfect for sportbikes and other smaller types of models that do not usually cater to aftermarket luggage systems. They are subtly designed so the carrier does not disturb the bikes look too much when used without the cases. The carrier is designed to be lightweight and strong to allow the vast Hepco and Becker C-bow bag range to be slid onto the C-shaped mount and locked to the bike with a turn of a key. The bag range consists of soft bags, leather bags, and lockable hard plastic cases. Each C-bow comes with the required hardware and instructions. Each bag set comes with keys and locks.

The complete bag range can be found HERE.

If you want to make your own bags or repair your existing ones, the C-bow Mold Mounts are available HERE.

BIKE SPECIFIC NOTES:

The C-bow is slightly asymmetrical on the right side by 30mm because of the exhaust.

Customers praised the carrier as "rock solid" and a "great addition" that maintains the bike's aesthetics. Installation can be challenging, with some needing modifications for better fitment. One reviewer noted "too much gap between case and bike." Most found the final result functional and worth the effort.

Orbit side cases for Monster Plus

These are on the small side, but they look really clean and after a tiny struggle getting them installed they are rock solid.

Monster 937 hard case

The fitment isn’t great too much gap between the case and the bike. The gap is also not proportional. It works for what it was intended but I’ve modified it for better fitment and reduced the gap and made it proportional.

Great addition to the bike. Does not take away from the Bike's beauty

Install not as easy as I would have liked due to Ducati mistake but over two days and three trips...

First, it was partly Ducati’s fault that the install was challenging. The nut and bolt at the right rear at the exhaust was cross threaded, I would assume at the factory. So both the nut and the bolt were destroyed upon removal. A new bolt was supplied, but we were supposed to use the existing nut, which was non functional due to Ducati cross threading it. So had to go to hardware store for new locking flange nut. The rest was fairly straightforward except for attaching the cross bar under the seat to each side of the C-bow. The holes in the main piece were threaded, but it was very difficult to get the small bolts in the holes and tightened in place holding the cross bar in place and reaching up and inside to thread it. Was also afraid I’d cross thread them. In the end we got them in place. Didn’t help that it was over 100 F and hands were sweaty. Use mechanics gloves. Also, you’ll need a 10 mm socket which we were inexplicably missing (you’ll also need others), so trip two to the hardware store. We also needed a 15 mm socket for the 300mm bolt that went through the body, which we never had. Trip #3. Need thread locker and a torque wrench to tighten everything - internet search for Hepco and Becker torque settings needed to be found - They are available on the German site. 86 Nm on the main bolt through the engine required one person to hold the nut and the other to torque the bolt, so not a one person job..

All parts were included (none left out), the saddle bags slipped on and locked nicely. Everything was packed well. Got the Royston bags I believe. Have a zipper with yellow trim. My laptop fits in the bag easily, so can now carry a water bottle, some tools, and my laptop on my Ducati Monster 2022 with no problem. Good outcome just more work than I was expecting.Guess my Monster is not as sleek locking as it was, but now I can at least carry some water for those 104 days without resorting to a backpack.
