Hepco & Becker Side Carrier BMW R NineT, Pure, Urban GS

Every Side Carrier is custom designed for each individual model bike. These racks are made of high quality steel tubing finished in black. All racks are relatively easy to install and come with the required hardware and installation instructions.

Please note that the side carrier was built with the shorter BMW European version turn signals installed. You will need to replace the US version with shorter turn signal stalks in order for these to fit correctly. 

Please note there is a small heat shield that comes with this rack to deflect the heat of the exhaust away from the luggage. This heat shield is not adequate for Journey cases because they sit lower than other cases. We are currently developing a larger heat shield to work with Journey cases.

There is a possibility that the stock turn signals could hit the cases/side carrier when installed. An easy fix is to convert the signals stalks to shorter OEM stalks from BMW. The part numbers are 63 23 8 534 360 and 63 23 8 534 361. Please note that these BMW parts do not come with wiring. You will have to use the existing wiring and splice it inot the new turn signals. Alternatively, you can purchase the wire by themselves (2 of them) to splice into 61 12 7 699 594.

If top case mounted, we recommend:
- Journey Topcase 40 + Journey side cases
- Junior Topcase 40 + Junior side cases 30 or 40
- Xplorer/Xceed Topcase + Xplorer/Xceed side cases (side cases must be released from carrier to be opened)
- All other combinations won't fit due to the width
