Hepco & Becker top case racks all started with the original tube style rear racks. These racks are traditional in the way they look and mount with a top case. The designs are subtle and can often be mistaken for OEM parts. Any of the standard Hepco & Becker cases, that are not universal, will mount directly to this style of rack. All hardware and instructions come with the rack for installation. If you have a Hepco & Becker side luggage rack, the rear rack should mount together just fine. Please check the instructions to be sure this is possible.

NOTE:

Universal cases that come with a universal mounting plate are not recommended as the standard cases will be a stronger mount.

Rear rack praised for maintaining bike's aesthetic while adding functionality. Customers said it's "very good quality" with a "slim design" that "looks the best" compared to alternatives. Easy installation and built-in passenger handholds are strengths. One customer noted the weight rating seems conservative at 11 lbs.

CB 1100 great upgrade

My CB keeps the great look and lines with the H&B rack and adds security for me for my youngest riding on the back.

Wife agrees with added plus of a backstop

A great product

Great fitting rear rack

If you own a CB1100, you have 3 options for installing a rear rack: 1) factory Honda rack 2) Givi or 3) this one from Hepco & Becker. All 3 are similar construction of chromed steel. So first off, the Givi rack is in the same price point as the H&B and looks similar with a bow. It only fits the Givi rear case, however. The Honda rack appears to be more solid and goes straight back with no bow and not much clearance from the rear tail light. This makes the bike looks "longish". The H&B rack looks the best IMO, does not change the proportions of the bike and fits very well with the roundish appearance of the front of the bike. It also has 2 built in passenger handholds which the Honda one lacks. The most important feature is that you can upgrade to H&B side carriers like the C-Bow or even other carriers. As any CB1100 owner knows, the rear turn signals get in the way of any side panniers so they will need to be relocated. This is impossible to do with Honda carrier because it is so close to the main tail light where many kits mount to. I'm giving it 4 stars out of 5 because they under rated the weight that the rack can carry (11 lbs.) It was a breeze to install and came with all needed parts.
