Good fit and easy to install

Have had a few spills off road on hard pack and mud. The Lowe's take most of the impact and the towers take the little bit of energy left. Upper is a pain to install. The upper also can move with a harder impact, but a little pull will realign it. They've held up well with show speed drops also on concrete when doing balance drills. Sits tighter and is a bit lighter it feels like compared to the Outbacks., while also not being too intrusive

First ,the packing was impressive ,very well done. The tank and engine guards are very nice. They fit well and look great . It took me about two hours to install both. I watched some videos and read threw the instructions then went to work.

If BMW got its online act together re accessories -- and didn't want to always charge all outdoors for everything -- a set of BMW tank and engine guards would be on my 2019 BMW F850GS right now, BUT HepcoBecker has navigable online resources, fair prices, the maiden name (Becker) of my departed German grandmother, and a decent-looking product. The BMW dealer mechanic (who installed the guards) said they were a pain in the ass to install compared to the proprietary BMW stuff, but he also said they're rugged, well-made, and should do the trick. So far they've not met anything but air and water, and I hope to keep them that way!

I installed this guard soon after I bought the bike for extra insurance and to be able to ride more confidently since I'm short and would have trouble on uneven surfaces. The instructions were mostly clear and installation is easy. You will need torx bits and a torque wrench. It helps if you have a center stand otherwise you may struggle trying to line up the bolts. I have not tested it but it looks like it should be able to absorb an impact during a tip over.

Fits nicely on the bike

These engine guards are of top quality. This is for the lower guard. The upper garden has to be purchased separately. They fit the 2019 F8 50 GS very well. Approximate time to put on was about five hours. Would highly recommend

Bought these guards to protect my F750GS. The install was fairly straightforward and simple. They look good on the bike, but hopefully I never have the occasion to test their performance
