14 of the 2025 Motorcycles You Can’t Miss
Can you believe 2025 is already upon us? It feels like just yesterday we were getting excited about the prospect of a new decade and hopeful for the changes a fresh era would bring. While that didn’t work out exactly as planned (we’re looking at you, covid), we have seen an incredible selection of bikes released and re-released since then.
Today we’ll dive into the latest models for 2025 that you don’t want to miss. And if there’s one you think should be on this list, feel free to drop us a comment and we’ll get it added. Now, let’s begin.
Our Favorite Motorcycles of 2025
It wasn’t possible for us to sort these bikes from best to worst as there are way too many factors that come into play; not least of which is personal preference. Instead, we sorted them into type:
Adventure/Touring
KTM 390 Adventure R
The KTM 390 Adventure R’s setup features a lightweight 399cc single-cylinder engine producing 44 hp and an advanced WP Apex Pro suspension. This delivers exceptional versatility for adventure riding, with noticeable power and efficiency.
Reviewers have also noted strong, but manageable low-end torque, making it a great option for newer and more experienced riders alike (though it does technically have the lowest torque numbers in its class). An adjustable suspension brings excellent handling and stability whether you find yourself offroad or on a highway.
The 2025 edition hasn’t been released to the public yet, but you can be sure we’ll be working to get our hands on one for a test ride. In the meantime, don’t miss their 2024 adventure model.

BMW R 1300 GS Adventure
The BMW R 1300 GS Adventure has been widely recognized as a major update to BMW’s already iconic adventure lineup. It’s known for increased power, with a 1,300cc engine producing 145 hp versus the R 1250 which had a 1,254cc engine and 136 hp.
Power aside, this bike has caught our eye thanks to its advanced electronics, improved ergonomics, and fresh rider aids like enhanced traction control, ride modes, and an electronic suspension.
All of these items together make the BMW R 1300 GS a formidable player in the 2025 adventure bike market. That said, it is also one of the pricier options out there, with a starting price of $22,475.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is a big step forward for the brand, offering better performance, modern features, and strong off-road abilities, making it a great choice for adventure riders.
It features a 452cc liquid cooler engine that produces 40 hp and 30 lb-ft of torque. Not unlike other bikes in this category, it has a fantastic suspension; it’s Showa-built with a USD fork (non-adjustable) and preload-adjustable rear shock, both with 200mm travel. Add in an airbox that is moved under the tank, resulting in better shock linkage orientation, and you’ve got a bike that is ready for (almost) anything.
This bike was tested in the Himalayas, including a ride from Royal Enfield’s CEO. (Can you imagine a better place to test it than its own namesake?)

Honda NC750X
The NC750X is widely considered to be one of the strongest “all around” bikes in the Honda lineup. And 2025 only serves to make this legacy even stronger. Originally launched in 2012, this motorcycle has always been known for solid power, comfortable ergonomics, and above all, reliability.
The 2025 version brings a truly significant update to this model, with notable improvements in stopping power, an advanced dual-clutch transmission (DCT), and a new 5-inch TFT display. It maintains a lightweight chassis, but adds in an improved suspension that allows for long rides regardless of terrain.
One final major improvement is the integration of a 23-liter integrated storage compartment in the “frunk” of the motorcycle. This allows it to maintain its unique and eye-catching appearance without sacrificing capacity.
The 2025 model doesn’t appear to be for sale yet in US market, but we’re confident that Honda will see plenty of demand when they do.

Sportbikes
CFMoto 675SR-R
The CFMoto 675SR-R brings a fresh edge to the middleweight sportbike category, offering a balance of power, style, and advanced technology. With a 675cc three-cylinder engine producing 100 hp, it strikes a great balance between thrill and manageability, making it a strong choice for a wide range of riders and skill levels.
A short teaser video for this bike was released in July 2024 and showed a number of intriguing features, including:
- Unique check-mark-shaped LED headlights on the front end.
- Aerodynamic components inspired by Honda's CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP but designed for street use.
- Relatively high and wide handlebars.
- Passenger footpegs and mirrors, along with integrated front turn signals.

KTM 990 RC
The 2025 KTM 990 RC R marks KTM's return to the fully faired sportbike market after more than 15 years. Following the discontinuation of the 1190 RC8/RC8R in 2016, KTM introduces this model in both a street-legal and a track-focused version. This bike is designed for performance, affordability, and versatility, appealing to both road and racing enthusiasts.
With its 947cc engine producing 123 hp and 76 lb-ft of torque, the KTM 990 RC R offers impressive power. It also features advanced rider aids, optional Performance and Track modes, and a 5-inch TFT display found in other KTM models.

Aprilia RS 457
Another hit from our friends at Aprilia. The RS 457 has been marketed as an easy-to-handle, but powerful supersport motorcycle, making it an ideal choice for a greater range of riders. With an elegant, yet aggressive, design, this bike will definitely turn heads.
It features a 457cc parallel twin with a 270-degree crank, creating 48 hp and 32 lb-ft of torque. This bike follows the same design strategy as the RS 660, with the engine as the main structural component of the bike. Its chassis rigidity was tuned for track performance, resulting in sharp handling through corners and straight lines.

Yamaha YZF-R3
Yep, it’s time for a new Yamaha R3. The R-Series from Yamaha is another one that is near and dear to our racing hearts, so we’re pretty excited to see a fresh iteration of the R3.
This entry-level sportbike is approachable, affordable, and has just the right amount of power to be exciting. Made to look like other bikes in this series (like the R1 in particular), it features an aggressive front fairing, sleek side panels, and a sporty tail section.
Mechanically, this bike hasn’t undergone a ton of changes, but it does have a new assist and slipper clutch, allowing for smoother downshifts and engine braking. It keeps a 321cc twin cylinder engine and 41 hp, also available in previous models.

Cruisers
Buell Super Cruiser
If you are in search of modern power coupled with a classic design, the Buell Super Cruiser might be just the motorcycle you need. It features a 1190cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine with 175 hp and 110 ft-lb of torque.
A few things we like about this cruiser:
- It has supersport-level power but extremely comfortable ergonomics
- 17” wheels supporting a truly sleek, but muscular frame
- The signature Buell swingarm that gives a nostalgic feel to the bike as a whole
This bike is slated for release in fall 2025, so keep an eye on their website and socials for updates as they come out. Keep in mind that it is still undergoing testing, so there might be some slight modifications to key specs as they are known presently.

Suzuki Boulevard M109R
Another fantastic cruiser to look out for this year is the Suzuki Boulevard. It features a 1,783cc V-twin engine with 128 hp and 118 lb-ft of torque. It has a muscular and low-slung profile that definitely gives a feeling reminiscent of other bikes like this in the past.
A 5-speed shaft transmission coupled with a 46mm inverted front fork and rigid chassis makes this motorcycle eat up the miles on the highway while also feeling balanced and controlled at lower speeds in the city.
That said, there don’t appear to be too many major technical or mechanical changes to this bike year-over-year. You can find a dealer for the 2025 Boulevard M109R today.

Classics
Royal Enfield Bear 650
The Royal Enfield Bear 650 is a scrambler built for both on- and off-road use. It offers improved suspension, a reinforced frame, and updated ergonomics compared to the INT 650. However, for many, its adventure capabilities appear to be limited to hard-packed trails, reducing its capacity as a serious off-road bike.
Compared to previous models, it has a taller suspension, reinforced frame, and updated ergonomics. It has a classic style with clean lines that make it attractive and nostalgic. Add in a 648cc engine and 47 hp, and you’ve got a solid all-around bike for riders with a range of skill levels.

BMW R 12
The 2025 BMW R 12 is a notable addition to the classic/roadster segment, blending timeless design with modern performance. Powered by a 1,170cc air/oil-cooled boxer engine, it delivers 109 horsepower and 85 lb-ft of torque, providing a responsive and engaging ride.
The R 12 features a minimalist aesthetic, customizable options, and advanced electronics, including ABS and traction control, giving riders both style and safety. It has a relaxed and casual style with classic design features.
The 2025 model becomes the latest edition to be part of BMW’s heritage collection. It’s available for purchase today with a starting price of $12,645.

Electric Motorcycles/Scooters
Royal Enfield “Flying Flea”
Technically this bike is due to hit the market in 2026, but we figured we’d get ahead of the game. This electric motorcycle will be a lightweight, city-focused bike designed for urban and freeway use, offering a sustainable and affordable alternative for city riders.
The name is inspired by the lightweight motorcycles used by the British army during WWII, originally delivered by parachute to troops. It will have a mid-frame battery and a monoshock rear suspension. Technical details like battery capacity and charging times aren’t disclosed as of this writing, but we’ll be keeping an eye on developments as they are released.

Can-Am Pulse
The 2025 Can-Am Pulse is a naked electric motorcycle, designed for urban commuting with agility and quick acceleration. With a starting price of $13,999, it offers a compact design suitable for zipping around the city (hello, quick trips to your favorite taco stand or neighborhood bodega).
It provides a range of up to 100 miles in city conditions and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in a zoomy 3.8 seconds. Additionally, it has an industry-leading liquid-cooled battery with an onboard charger for fast charging, reaching 80% capacity in just 50 minutes with a Level 2 charger.
Depending on your location, the 2025 Pulse may be eligible for various tax credits or incentives. Check with your local dealer for details.
