Very sturdy and efficient mounting system
I am really impressed with the C-Bow mounting system on the Honda CBR250R. One rear bracket handles support for both left and right C-Bows, and a left and right front bracket supports the front part of each C-Bow. Once the brackets are installed and the C-Bows bolted in the place, the assembly is tremendously rigid.
If there's a downside, it is the necessity to use a template to drill tow 25mm (1") holes in the small plastic fender liner under the rear fender. These holes are needed for the rear C-Bow bracket to gain access to two bolts at the rear of the bike's frame. You remove the cover and use a template to drill the holes in the right locations. Although I used the template, the holes I drilled did not end up perfectly centered under the frame bolts. So I had to finagle to C-Bow bracket and fender cover around to get it to work, but it did all go together without further drilling needed.
