Motobags by Amphibious are state of the art luggage bags designed for adventure on two wheels in the most extreme conditions. These bags are made from high quality PVC to ensure all around durability in any condition you may face. These bags are suitable for all motorcycles that have standard luggage frames already in place. It is recommended that you have a minimum amount of 3 inches from the exhaust pipe for the bag to breathe without being melted. Special heat treated material is used on the back of the bag as well as the bottom to protect the contents inside.

Motobags come in pairs of two so that you have one set for one bike. Each bag has a wide opening at the top making it easier to stow large items. The top portion is Velcro all the way across and then rolled over and strapped down. An air valve allows for sizing to range from 20 to 50 liters. This also ensures a tight and slim fit when not loaded to max capacity. Incorporated into the design are 5 highly reflective strips for increased visibility in bad weather or poor lighting conditions.

The inside of the bag has one zippered pocket that is highlighted in red for small items that you would like to keep separate. On the outside of the bag, ergonomic carrying handles make carrying the luggage while off the bike care free. Shoulder straps also come with the bags for added ease of use. These bags are a great all around solution for wanting a light weight yet versatile way to carry luggage.

The Amphibious Motobag has been a big improvement over my previous soft bags. I love the large size of them and the waterproof design. The air release valve is also a nice feature as you close the bag. They seem very well built and should last a long time. They mounted very easily to my Yamaha Super Tenere that has aftermarket luggage racks, which are needed for supporting the bags (IMHO). I think they are well worth the price for a large/waterproof soft bag setup and would buy them again. There are some things that I think could make for some improvements though. I would have liked to see some small attachment straps for securing the d-rings of the bags to my rack system. It does come with some long ones, but they allow the bags to flop around too much for my tastes. I ended up using 6" double sided velcro straps to do the job. I also wish there was a way to have the bags keep a uniform shape when empty. They just look a little to "Frumpy" on the bike when they are not loaded with gear. I might try to design an inner stiffener system that won't take up too much room. I am not sure why they put a velcro strip along the entire opening of the bag. I have seen many waterproof bags with just the stiffened opening edges held together and just rolled up three times to create the waterproof seal. I do not think the velcro aides in helping to keeping water out. It is not that much of a problem, but something that I do not think is needed.
